Twin Cities Children Suffer Lead Poisoning, Company Ceases Production

A Twin Cities has been ordered to cease production after children suffered lead poisoning.

According to Bring Me The News, the Minnesota Department of Health and Department of Labor and Industry issued a temporary order for Water Gremlin in White Bear Township to cease manufacturing its lead products after a Saturday inspection.

Commissioners with the MDH and DLI have also asked the Ramsey County District Court to extend the order until Water Gremlin has made moves "to prevent the lead poisoning of workers' children."

Tests showed workers' children had high blood lead levels linked to lead dust unknowingly brought home from Water Gremlin by their parents.
