Yup! It's back! If you love cats and you're looking for a little escape after Thanksgiving, KittyCon will be in Tampa November 30 and December 1.
The theme this year is “Meowy Catmas,” and will feature ““vendors, entertainment, expert speakers on cat care and hot rescue topics, Kitty Kosplay, charity auctions, kids’ activities, free product samples and giveaways, cat yoga, and more.”
Of course, there will be an “Adoption Room” available for people to take home some cats.
The event is entering its second year and is put together by the St. Francis Society Animal Rescue. “The proceeds allow us to continue the lifesaving work we do for neonatal kittens, and sick, injured, and homeless cats in the community,” said Kathy Walvoord, President and Cat Care Coordinator of St. Francis Society Animal Rescue.
Possibly the main attraction, in addition to the cats, is the premiere of a new doucmentary, "Cat Rescuers."
