Duluth's Waterfront Closed, Coastal Flooding Expected

The City of Duluth is preparing for potential coastal flooding as high winds and heavy rains heads towards the Northland city, while a large area of the rest of Minnesota is under a wind advisory.
The City of Duluth has already closed parts of Canal Park Drive due to standing water, as well as Buchanan and Morse streets as a precaution as the storm heads to the city, while residents have also been told to stay away from the Park Point Beach House and Recreation Area.
Wind gusts in excess of 50 mph are possible into the evening, with the National Weather Service issuing a coastal flood advisory till 10 p.m.
