Delta is offering up something that's pretty difficult to pass up, especially with the holidays quickly approaching.
According to Bring Me The News, Delta just launched a program that offers extra perks to its SkyMiles members.
For an annual fee of $59, SkyMiles Select members get to board in the Main Cabin 1 boarding group every time they fly, even if they have a basic economy ticket. They also get 8 complimentary drinks every year and get a special limited edition SkyMiles Select luggage tag.
Considering beer and wine on domestic Delta flights start at $8-9, the fee basically pays for itself and is an absolute steal.
Holders of Delta's American Express credit cards currently have the same priority boarding benefit, but if you don't want to open a credit card with them (and you want the drinks), then SkyMiles Select might be for you.
