Yikes...this is one weird way to promote the new film, Joker. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, an outtake from the new DC comics movie was shown and the main star, Joaquin Phoenix obviously didn't know how to react or how to respond. Needless to say, I don't know what Jimmy Kimmel was thinking embarrassing someone like that, especially someone who is a guest on your show and is trying to promote their newest movie. Yet, according to Phoenix's publicists, it apparently it was all a joke...if that's the case...Joaquin is a better actor than I thought. Regardless if it was a joke or not, it was awkward all around.
