I'm going to be honest...this sounds the like the collaboration I've always wanted. I mean Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds in a movie together. It sounds too perfect! Not only that but it's looking like it's going to be a Christmas classic, one you've probably seen before. In fact, it will be a new rendition of A Christmas Carol. According to the Hollywood Reporter, it will be a "musical reimagining" of the iconic story.
Daddy's Home veterans Sean Anders and John Morris are writing and directing the untitled movie. There is no word yet on the characters Ferrell and Reynolds will play, but presumably one of them will play Ebenezer Scrooge. Which honestly, I really hope it's Will Ferrell. I mean, I would even like Will Ferrell to play Tiny Tim. Really any of the characters from the classic story would work for him. I'm all in!
