It's a good time to be a baseball fan here in the Twin Cities! The Twins are getting closer and closer to the finals and our very own St. Paul Saints have won the American Association Championship! That's right! They beat out the Sioux Fall Explorers 3 to 6 last Saturday. General Manager Derek Sharrer said, "It’s been a crazy, magical ride watching this team over the last few weeks … these guys just wouldn’t let the season end until that championship game on Saturday night.” Great job Saints!
Not only did they win but they also hosted a 3-minute celebration parade (which was planned to be just 1-minute) which you can watch below.
