Sever's Fall Festival opens for the season on Friday, promising to be "bigger and better" than ever after moving to its new location.
It will be the 23rd year for the harvest celebration, but the first at its new home 3121 W. 150th St. in Shakopee, just off of Hwy. 169 and not far from the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.
The Peterson family, which first launched the festival in 1997, has announced that it's bought the land on West 150th Street, making the new location its "forever home."
