Traffic in the Twin Cities will be an absolute nightmare this sports-filled weekend due to road closures.
Those attending games at U.S. Bank Stadium, Target Field, Allianz Field, and CHS Field are in for a rude awakening this weekend because, according to Bring Me The News, MnDOT is closing down eastbound I-94 in the St. Paul Midway for surfacing work.
The closure takes effect 10 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday. It will impact all of eastbound I-94 from Hwy. 280 to I-35E.
I-494 will also be closed in BOTH directions the same timeframe between Hwy. 5 and I-35E.
