Sick Of Tinder? Facebook's Dating Service Has Now Launched In The U.S.

Are you sick of Tinder or one of the many various dating apps or websites out there? Well, Facebook has heard and have officially launched their new dating service simply titled, Dating. The company said that its matchmaking service, Dating, is finally launching in the United States, more than a year after the company first announced the feature.

According to Charmaine Hung, a product manager at Facebook Dating, "We've been really slow, actually, with this rollout...we really wanted to make sure we got it right because dating is so personal." The U.S. is now the 20th country to support this Facebook function. The feature allows for anyone 18 or older to set up a dating profile on the Facebook app. It also includes cross platform with Instagram. According to CNN.com, Individuals can opt-in to share photos posted on Facebook or Instagram to their Dating profile, or add Instagram followers to Dating's Secret Crush feature, which allows for indicating crushes among Facebook friends -- and as of Thursday, Instagram followers -- to see if the feelings are mutual.
