Kmart Closes Minnesota Stores - Will It Finally Quit Ruining Nicollet Ave?

Two of Minnesota's three remaining Kmart stores are closing.

According to Bring Me The News, Transfom Holdco LLC, whih bought Sears Corporation's assets earlier in the year, announced two Minnesota Kmart locations will close by mid-December.

Liquidation sales are expected to begin in mid-September for the Saint Paul and International Falls locations, and shoppers will be able to continue shopping at kmart.com.

This means Nicollet Avenue at Lake Street in Minneapolis will still be oddly split by the only remaining Kmart in Minnesota, unfortunately.
