Snow White Hugs and Cuddles Boy with Autism To Calm Him During Meltdown

A mother has shared photos of the heartwarming moment Snow White soothed her six-year-old autistic son at Disney World, calling her a 'pure angel.' 

Lauren Bergner, 37, from Woodridge, New Jersey, took toFacebookon Sunday to praise the Disney cast member for her kindness, explaining that her nonverbal son Brody started having an 'autism meltdown' while waiting to take a picture with her at Epcot. 

'I am so emotional with these pictures!!' the mom wrote. 'Brody was having a meltdown. It was our turn to take pictures with her and he wanted nothing to do with it! Snow White could tell Brody had special needs! She took him for a walk and got him time away from the crowd!! This is true magic!! 

Photos of the moment show the actress hugging Brody and letting him rest his head in her lap before she led him away from the crowd. 

Lauren is looking to get in touch with the woman who was playing Snow White that day to thank her for helping her son. As part of her post, she shared the email she sent to Disney praising the actress for her actions. 

The mom explained that she and her family went to meet Snow White by the fountain at the Germany Pavilion on Sunday afternoon when the blazing heat and crowds led Brody to have a meltdown.
