Another round of strong to severe storms is possible Wednesday, with the National Weather Service in the Twin Cities saying the setup looks to be similar to Monday's severe weather, which produced very large hail and isolated damaging winds.
In Tuesday's forecast discussion, the NWS Twin Cities gives a broad explanation of what's in the works.
"A better chance for showers and thunderstorms arrives on Wednesday with another cold front, and unfortunately the setup looks relatively similar to Monday's large hail and damaging wind event, with a slight southward shift."
