As the Eagan Police Department put it, "You can't make this up."
On Thursday, the same day Minnesota's "hands-free law" went into effect, an Eagan police officer pulled over a driver who was using a phone.
Video posted to Facebook by the Eagan Police Department showed the interaction between the driver and a police officer.
During the stop, the officer asked what the driver was doing on her phone.
During the exchange, the officer asked, "Were you texting about the hands-free law."
The driver responded, "Yes."
Eagan Police later posted to Facebook, saying, "We appreciate her spreading the word but COME ON!"
