Macy's SLAMMED For "Mom Jeans" and "Skinny Jeans" Portion Control Plates

Macy's is under fire for selling (and since banning) plates that people say promote eating disorders and fat shaming.

The Daily Mail shared several responses that the company received from some pretty unhappy customers. The plates have portion control circles labeled "skinny jeans," "favorite jeans," and "mom jeans."

According to the manufacturer, the POURTIONS plates, which retailed at $9.50 each, are a "humorous + healthy way to watch what you eat + drink. There's nothing like broken-in, faded, ripped-in-the-right-place jeans. They look great, and more importantly, they fit great. So, keep your eye on the middle circle and you'll always be in fashion."
