Mom Lets Daughter Lick Tongue Depressor, Does Nothing...Except She Films It

A mother in Florida was arrested after allegedly filming her daughter licking a tongue depressor at a doctor's office, which she then put back in the jar.

According to the NY Daily News, 30-year-old Cori E. Ward is charged with felony tampering with a consumer product without regard for possible death/bodily injury for the popsicle stick incident.

The video shows Ward's daughter taking a tongue depressor out of a jar, licking it and putting it back before touching the other depressors. She then puts the lid back on.

A sign on the wall says, "Please do not touch medical supplies!" Ward's caption on the video says, "Don't tell me how to live my life."

Ward says she now regrets doing nothing and that she was "just being silly" with her kids.

When the doctor's office was notified of the incident and video, they immediately took action to remove all materials and containers from the exam room and re-sanitized the entire facility.
