A man passed away after the the lawnmower he was riding is believed to have tipped and landed in the Mississippi River.
According to Bring Me The News, 89-year-old Ralph Hermes was found by a neighbor checking on him Monday afternoon at his home in Big Lake Township.
Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott says they believe Hermes was riding the lawnmower when it tipped over the 15-foot drop into the Mississippi.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
