A man and his cat broke into a home where he put on a Christmas onesie and helped himself to some cupcakes.
According to the Daily Mail, the couple returned home and noticed someone had obviously broken in. Holding knives from the kitchen, one half of the couple, Timothy Smith, walked through the house looking for whoever had entered their home.
That's when Smith noticed a hatch to a crawl space in a bedroom was open, so he went down there with the knives and yelled for the person to reveal themselves.
Then, the cat (whose name is Spaghetti) wearing a shirt appeared in the crawl space.
Upon the police's arrival, 38-year-old Ryan Bishop also emerged from the crawl space wearing the couple's Christmas onesie.
Smith told Fox 12 reporters that Bishop had "pulled the cupcakes out of the fridge, ate a few of those, pulled the cake out, ate a piece of cake, just made himself a cup of coffee."
"He was just hanging out wearing my fiancee's onesie, like, doped up and drinking coffee," said Smith.
Smith went on to say that both he and his fiancee felt "livid" that their sanctuary had been destroyed by someone who didn't belong there, and that they wore her clothes.
Bishop was arrested on first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief, and third-degree theft charges. Animal control had to remove Spaghetti the cat from the crawl space.
The fiancee did not want her onesie back.
