It was only a matter of time before Hollywood decided to spark up another Matrix film. According to Chad Stahelski, who recently directed John Wick Chapter 3, has started a rumor that Lilly and Lana Wachowski—the sibling duo behind the first three Matrix films—could be working on a fourth installment in the franchise. Yeah, and here I thought the third one ended on a somber, yet perfect note.
Chad Stahelski told Yahoo News, "I’m super happy that the Wachowskis are not just doing a Matrix, but they’re expanding what we all loved. And if it’s anywhere near the level of what they’ve already done, it wouldn’t take more than a call to go, ‘Hey, we want you to be a stunt guy’ and I would probably go and get hit by a car."
Despite the rumor, Keanu Reeves said he would be interested in revisiting the film series. Not only that, but there's also speculation that Michael B. Jordan would be up for a major role in a potential 4th film. At this point, nothing has been confirmed but I would maybe like to see another Matrix film...that is...if it's a good movie.
