People from all over the world are wanting to adopt the newborn baby found abandoned in a plastic bag in the woods earlier this month.
According to the Today Show (via PEOPLE), the baby, temporarily named "India" by investigators, is currently in the care of Forsyth County, Georgia's Division of Family and Children Services. Now, people have been reaching out to try to adopt the baby.
"It's amazing the number of people who are looking to take on a new life into their families," said Forsyth County Sheriff Ron Freeman. "And we got somebody who tried to throw one away."
