Well, it's finally come to this. The Office is officially leaving Netflix in 2021. The show, which ended in 2013 on NBC has since become sort of a staple for a lot of people when it came to streaming. Not only for the show's amazing cast, but also for it's binge worthy episodes.
In a statement yesterday, NBC announced that the show will be leaving Netflix in 2021 and will be part of NBC's new streaming service. The news isn't exactly surprising as there's been rumors for a while now that NBC was creating their own personal streaming site and would most likely be taking all their shows with them. According to MSNBC, "Their new service, which will be available at no extra charge to those with an existing cable plan, is hoping to launch in 2020. Those without cable, a subscription to the service should run somewhere around $10 a month."
So, with that said...we can probably assume Friends will be next too. So get streaming!
What do you think of this? Will you purchase NBC's streaming service when it comes available?
