Seagulls Keep Couple Hostage In Their Home For Six Days

It seems as though Alfred Hitchcock was trying to warn us when he made The Birds back in 1963. Get this, Roy and Brenda Pickard, say they were constantly confronted by two adult seagulls after two chicks ended up on their roof according to Telegraph.com.

Roy (77) was even attacked which resulted in a bloody head injury that actually needed hospital treatment. According to Mr Pickard, "I've not been able to go out of the front door. If I try to get out of the door, the two adult birds are right there and I've got no chance. It's genuinely frightening." He added: "My wife isn't well or very mobile at the moment so we're relying on me to get out.

The type of seagulls are actually protected once nesting - which meant the couple had limited options and were unable to harm the birds.

Sounds like a nightmare to me!
