A cancer patient had to undergo a corrective procedure after surgeons accidentally removed the wrong part of his bowel.
According to the Daily Mail, the male patient had colorectal surgery last week. Upon realization of the major error, the patient and his family were provided "full disclosure" and the incident is now under investigation.
The same hospital is apparently struggling with drug and medical equipment shortages after opening last October.
