A man thought he was getting the deal of a lifetime on a home only to learn that his purchase was actually for a strip of grass...worth a LOT less than the home itself.
According to the Daily Mail, the man bid $9,100 on what he thought was a Florida villa in an online auction but in reality, it was a strip of grass between two driveways. The grass was only worth $50, and there's nothing he can do about getting a refund.
The villa he thought he purchased is really worth $177,000 and was on an online auction of properties that defaulted on taxes.
