Target is expanding its benefits for both full- and part-time employees, Bring Me The News reports.
As of June 30, Target will increase its family paid leave from 2 weeks to 4 weeks following birth, adoption, surrogacy, or foster placement. Paid family leave can also be used to care for a sick family member.
The company will also offer a "backup care" benefit to workers, which includes up to 4 weeks paid leave in case school or daycare is cancelled, which will surely prove to be a life saver in the winter.
There are more layers to these new pro-family benefits. Read more here.
