A warning for all you parents out there who have small children. Nickelodeon announced yesterday that the popular online sensation, Baby Shark will be getting a new animated series. So, get ready for more repetitive doo-doo-doo-doo-doos.
According to Nickelodeon Animation executive vice president Ramsey Naito, "At the heart of any popular piece of content is a terrific character, and we have a great opportunity to further explore the world of Baby Shark and follow this family through some great animated adventures on Nickelodeon." The show will be aimed at preschoolers.
The original Baby Shark video, recorded by Pinkfong Kids' Songs & Stories, has more than 2.8 billion views and is the ninth most watched video ever on the website. As of now, there is no release date but fair warning for all you parents out there.
