Minnesota Couple Builds Mobile Shower For The Homeless

A couple in St. Cloud is providing mobile showers for homeless people in the city, where homelessness has jumped 20% over the last several years.

According to KARE 11, Nancy and her husband Jason started offering laundry services for the homeless, and they are not expanding to mobile showers.

They bought a bus and built a shower inside to park and provide the free showers to those in need.

Jason himself understands this need, as he was homeless years ago. He told KARE 11, "Personally doing it because I was there .I know how bad it sucks and I now have the ability to do something about it."

Once the bus officially launches, it will make stops throughout the St. Cloud area and the I-94 corridor to Maple Grove.
