It appears that James Holzhauer’s remarkable 32-day winning streak on Jeopardy! will come to an end.
The professional gambler will fall short of the all-time winnings record after leaked video which appears to be of Monday’s episode shows him losing.
The video was making the rounds on social media late Sunday.
The minute-long clip shows Holzhauer go down in defeat to rival contestant Emma Boettcher.
Holzhauer, who until that point had amassed $2,382,583 in prize money during his impressive run, made the mistake by not wagering enough money in the Final Jeopardy! round.
Both Holzhauer and Boettcher gave the correct question - ‘Who is Kit Marlowe?’.
Marlowe was an English playwright who lived in the 16th century.
But the Las Vegas gambler only wagered $1,399, which brought his total from $23,400 to $24,799.
Boettcher, on the other hand, went big, wagering $20,201. That brought her to total to $46,801.
In the clip, an audible gasp goes up from the audience. The host, Alex Trebek, is also heard expressing amazement.
Jennings won more than $2.5million during his impressive winning streak on Jeopardy! 15 years ago.
