As the public grasps for answers as to why Meghan Markle and Prince Harry named their first born son Archie, a close friend of Meghan has come to our rescue to (maybe) give us some answers.
According to the Daily Mail, this friend of Meghan's says the former Suits actress and her mother shared a cat named Archie (who was named after the comic).
The friend says Meghan was always playing with and talking about her cat, and that "it's no surprise she named her new baby Archie."
Meghan reportedly told friends the cat got fat after constantly feeding her grapes.
