Notre Dame Re-Design Features Solar Power and Crystal Glass Spire

New designs for the rebuild of Notre Dame have very modern & eco-friendly features.

According to the Daily Mail, an award-winning architect has a modern vision of what the rebuilt Notre Dame should look like. Features include solar power, a crystal glass spire, and rooftop garden.

The plan is to make Notre Dame self-sufficient and produce more energy than it consumes, providing free power to nearby buildings. Farmers markets are part of the proposal with the rooftop garden.

The designs have been submitted to the French Government as part of an international competition to redesign the Cathedral.
