Big news for all you Game of Thrones fans out there! Creator, George R.R. Martin says the upcoming sequal series are moving along nicely! The successor series to the popular show will begin filming later this year, while the other two expected series in the Game of Thrones universe are currently remaining in development hell at the moment.
What will the propose sequel be about? According to the Network this is what series will be about:
"Taking place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series chronicles the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. From the horrifying secrets of Westeros’s history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend, only one thing is for sure: It’s not the story we think we know."
