This seems to be coming out of nowhere! It seems the beloved Twin Cities lake destination is back to being called Lake Calhoun due to The state Court of Appeals. Why though? Well, according to the court, the former Department of Natural Resources Commissioner Tom Landwehr lacked authority to change the name of the lake because the name had existed for more than 40 years.
So, that's interesting and odd. Welcome back Lake Calhoun?
