Over 240 Crashes Recorded Throughout The State During Spring Snowstorm

For those of you who decided to not come into work this week...it was probably a good idea. According to the Minnesota State patrol, there was over two hundred and forty crashes alone on Wednesday. According to LT. Gordon Shank, "between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, there were 213 crashes — 33 with injuries. In the same time period, there were 177 vehicle spin-outs and 15 jack-knifed semis." That's a lot in such a short time span.

If you may have noticed, I-35 southbound was shut down Wednesday to numerous accidents leading to long traffic lines. I guess April snow showers bring May flowers?

What do you think of the weather? Ready for those warmer temps again?
