Well, the deal is done!
If you haven't been paying attention, Disney has been in talks to buy Fox Studios for a good while now. Today, it's official. Though, it was initially reported that the Disney-Fox deal would be finalized by late 2018. It seems the mouse is finally taking control.
To put it in perspective, Disney will now own the following properties moving forward:
- X-Men
- The Simpsons
- Family Guy
- Avatar
- King of the Hill
- Bob's Burgers
- Alien & Predator
- X-Files
- Always Sunny in Philadelphia
- American Horror Story
- Ice Age
- Home Alone
- The Sound of Music
- Planet of the Apes
And more...
