BREAKING: Minneapolis Declares a Snow Emergency

The City of Minneapolis has officially declared a snow emergency effective Thursday evening, affecting all street parking.

Day 1 rules of the Minneapolis snow emergency take effect February 7 at 9 p.m. This means that by 9 p.m., you cannot park on either side of the street with the red snow emergency sign until 8 a.m. Snow plows will clear those streets first.

Day 2 rules apply February 8 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., do not park on the even side of non-snow emergency routes. You may park on the odd side. Do not park on either side of parkways.

Day 3 rules apply February 9 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Do not park on the odd side of non-snow emergency routes. You can park on the even side.
