Airline Seeking to Hire 'Traveling Storytellers' in the Twin Cities

An airline is hiring "traveling storytellers" right here in the Twin Cities.

According to KARE 11 , Southwest Airlines is looking to send people around the world for free to document travels on social media, inspiring other people to embark on their own adventures.

Southwest says they're seeking "travel storytellers" in their contest called "Southwest's Next Great Storyteller Search." Their ideal candidates are "social influencers" who will "travel with us and create compelling content that will inspire others to create their own travel stories."

The grand prize winner receives 24 one-way e-passes, first prize wins 12, second prize wins six, and third and fourth place winners receive gift cards and rewards.

Applying is as easy as following @southwestair on Instagram and sharing a photo and caption telling a travel story with Southwest, tag them, and use #SouthwestStorytellers and #Contest.

The deadline to post is February 24, and the top 100 will be notified around March 11. The top ten finalists will complete a travel content challenge in their home city.
