The cutest story ever stands behind this photo of Jayme Closs with her grandfather.
Before Jayme made her heroic escape from Jake Patterson's cabin in northern Wisconsin, her grandfather, Robert Naiberg, promised he'd buy her a big steak once she was found.
"We're so blessed," Jennifer Halvorson captioned the photo, which was posted to the private Facebook group called Light the way home for Jayme (via People ). "Grandpa said since day one he was gonna buy Jayme a big steak when she was found!! Well here it is he bought her steak and they had lunch together at his house!!"
Her alleged kidnapper Jake Patterson, who is also accused of killing her parents, appeared in court on Wednesday where he waived his right to a preliminary hearing. Because of that, he has been ordered to stand trial.
