A Minnesota man took hospice care into his own hands for his wife.

According to the Twin Cities Pioneer Press (via NY Daily News ), 58-year-old Duane Arden Johnson was arrested for neglect after reporting the death of his 69-year-old wife, Debra Lynn.

Johnson told police he checked his wife out of a nursing home because she didn't want to die there, and medicated her with methamphetamine at his home where "Death Parde God Hell" is painted on the door.

Police found "several guns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition" inside the home. When Johnson answered the door, he was reportedly naked and returned to the bathtub where he said he was trying to "remove some sort of undetectable 'things' from his skin."

Johnson said he and his wife spent their final hours together making love and listening to Quiet Riot's 1983 album Metal Health .
