The Minnesota State Fair has announced that ticket prices will rise in 2019, amid a $20 million investment into improvements and maintenance projects.
The price of general admission will go up by $1 to $15 for adults 13-64 and $13 for kids 5-12 and seniors, while pre-fair discount tickets will also rise a buck to $12 for all ages.
However, you can still buy tickets at the current price of $11 if you book them here by Feb. 1.
State fair general manager Jerry Hammer cited rising cost in fair production, public safety, facilities upkeep and the cost of the free Park & Ride system as being behind the increase.
