If You Hate the 35W Construction, Just Wait For Road Closures To Your Cabin

A construction project will majorly affect your drive to the cabin along I-94 for the next three years.

According to KARE 11, drivers should anticipate lane closures and delays on their way to cabin country along a 39 mile stretch on I-94 from Maple Grove to Clearwater. The project will last through 2021.

MnDOT says the $350 million project will reduce congestion and improve safety. Four areas will be under construction in the project, with two areas starting as early as this summer.

Get ready for it...It takes me around 2 hours to get to my cabin in Grey Eagle. Now I'm just going to plan on sitting in my car an additional 2 hours...This will not be fun.
