Love and support is pouring in from all over the country for Jayme Closs, who was found alive last Thursday. If you want to send her a care package, there's a destination set up just for that.
With permission from Jayme's family, friend Jennifer Halvorson set up a P.O. box on Saturday for people to send letters and packages to Jayme at the Rice Lake Post Office, 5 Eyewitness News reports.
People have sent her love and support from all over the country. One letter read, "Hope this little smile lets you know there are a lot of people on your side. We are so very sorry for your loss and we are thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers. Stay strong, have a wonderful life."
Someone sent Jayme a pot with blue butterflies on it, along with gardening supplies and a Dairy Queen gift card. She also received 3-D butterflies that she could attach to her wall.
"Butterflies have been a sign of hope and recovery, good things to come," Halvorson said. "She does have some blue butterflies in her bedroom so this is perfect."
All items sent to Jayme will be opened and screened for her safety.
