Jayme Closs: Female Adult Diapers and Army Survival Guide Found In Cabin

Barron County Sheriff

Details are beginning to emerge of the conditions that Jayme Closs was subject to inside Jake Patterson's cabin for 88 days.

The New York Post reports several items were found in and around the house, which has a sign hanging above the door that says "Pattersons Retreat."

Spoiled milk gallons that date back to September and a scorched disposable baking tin were found outside the home in a snowbank. Among the rubbish also included multiple empty containers of Cranberry Smirnoff Ice, Grape Henry's Hard Soda, and black cherry White Claw Hard Soda, plus an empty but new-looking package of 80 Member's Mark brand female adult diapers.

Inside the cabin, authorities found a book titled "U.S. Armed Forces Survival Guide" lying on a table and an open Monopoly board on the floor.

Of course we'll continue to hear more details from law enforcement as the investigation continues, and Jake Patterson is due in court today.
