Eerie Connection Between Suspect And Jayme Closs' Parents Emerges

Barron County Sheriff's Department

An eerie detail has emerged about the suspect arrested in the Jayme Closs case, connecting him to her parents before their murder.

According to Fox 6 Now, the 21-year-old man accused of killing James and Denise Closs worked at the same employer as them three years ago.

President of Jennie-O Turkey Store in Barron, Steve Lykken, said Patterson was hired one day, but quit the next, his reason being he was moving away from the area. James and Denise Closs worked at the turkey processing plant for 27 years, according to an obituary.

Meanwhile, Patterson's life remains a mystery. Television reports continue to suggest that the community is tight knit and everyone "had a good idea of who the suspect was" before his identity was revealed. However, the Star Tribune says, "The bartender at the roadhouse just down the highway from [his] home doesn't recognize him" and "Neither does the clerk at the only convenience store within 10 miles."

Hmm.
