The viral children's song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and it even made the top 40.
Pinkfong's "Baby Shark" sparked the popular dance in 2016, and is now on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the list dated January 12 in the #32 slot, Billboard reports.
"Baby Shark" origins date back decades, but the version we know gained viral popularity in 2016 in Indonesia with the Baby Shark Challenge and obviously hasn't slowed down since. In July 2018, it debuted on the Kid Digital Song Sales chart in the United States and appeared on the Streaming Songs chart in November.

"Baby Shark peaked at #6 on the Streaming Songs chart and is among YouTube's top 30 most-viewed videos of all time.
