New Brighton's Bartz Brothers Are At It Again: See Their Giant Snow Snail

The Bartz brothers in New Brighton have unveiled this year's snow sculpture creation, and it's definitely worth taking a drive out to see.

For the last eight years, Austin, Trevor, and Connor Bartz have built snow sculptures in their front yard for everyone to enjoy. This year is their biggest yet - a 23 foot high, 30 foot long snail named Slinky.

Thousands of people come out to see their snow sculptures. In the past, they say they've raised up to $59,000 for clean water, and this year their goal is to raise $30,000. (To donate, go here.)

Viewing hours are between 8 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. and the sculpture is located at 2777 16th Street NW, New Brighton, MN 55112.

Just a few weeks ago, Slinky looked like this. They hoped to have it done by New Year's Eve.

They used wood boards to stabilize Slinky.

Our winter rain storm was a minor set back, but they got right back to work.

Slinky looks marvelous!

Watch a time lapse of their work below.
