Joy Groover came across the man popping the question to his girlfriend at a church in Palm Beach eight years ago.
Every year, she makes it her mission to find the young couple in the photos by sharing the image on social media.
In 2010, Groover was out with her family taking Christmas photos in the courtyard of Bethesda by the Sea.
She said that her family took a bathroom break and the cute couple a few yards away immediately caught her attention.
Groover told WBPF: 'I looked over and there was a guy down on one knee and I thought 'swing the camera around that way' while we are taking a break and take some shots," Groover said.
