Rosedale Center is continuing its journey to become more than just a mall, with adding an aquarium next on the agenda.
The Roseville mall has tapped up Idaho-based SeaQuest to open an aquarium early next year, following in the footsteps of the Mall of America, which is home to a SeaLife.
SeaQuest's pending arrival early next year is confirmed on its website, saying construction will start soon on the aquarium.
"In early 2019, SeaQuest Roseville will take its guests on an adventure through rainforests, deserts and the depths of the seas. With exciting exhibits and activities for families and children of all ages, you’ll be able to get wet with the stingrays, feed birds and reptiles, encounter the caimans, marvel at the sharks, take "shellfies" with the snakes and much more."
SeaQuest let the cat out of the bag early, with the Pioneer Press reporting that Rosedale Center had planned to keep the news secret until January at least.
