Bob Naegele Jr., The Man Who Brought The NHL Back To MN, Passes Away

I was at the rally, outside, the Xcel Energy Center, I believe in Rice Park when the franchise was announced. I don't even know if there was a team name yet......details are foggy, but the atmosphere and the energy was undeniable.......I wanted to be a part of it. I was just so damn excited that the greatest hockey state in the US was getting a team again.

Thank you Bob Naegele Jr., I appreciate your tireless efforts to bring the NHL back to it's rightful home in Minnesota. I have too many memories to recount here.

This video from the Wild, brings back a bunch.

And this retro piece is an awesome chunk of history.

Also, if you really want to dig in, Michael Russo wrote a wonderful piece on Mr. Naegele Jr.
