PHOTOS: Look Inside Minneapolis' New Filipino Restaurant

For months I've been eyeing up this closed up Vicinity Coffee shop on Nicollet, knowing that south Minneapolis would soon get a Filipino restaurant. Just this week, Apoy finally opened.

Apoy MPLS has been promoting its food leading up to the grand opening event on Monday, telling the world all the wonderful things the public loves (or will love) about Filipino food. I'll admit, I don't even know what to expect Filipino food to taste like, but I am totally down to try it (because I assume I'd love it).

Here are some of the top Instagrams from inside Apoy, Minneapolis' new Filipino restaurant on 43rd and Nicollet.
