Blue October frontman Justin Furstenfeld reacted to the news of "beautiful artist" Mac Miller's passing on Instagram.
"Another one falls victim to the horrible disease of addiction," he said. "First it was all of the rock stars who died so hip hop took over the scene. Now the rappers are the rock stars. Damn it wake up everyone. RIP you beautiful artist. You're (sic) last album is brilliant."
Furstenfeld, who has openly discussed his own struggles with addiction, continued: "NO ONE IS INVINCIBLE FROM THIS DISEASE. GET HELP NOW."
Mac Miller, born Malcolm McCormick, was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Friday from an apparent overdose, Rolling Stone reports. He was 26.
